I am trying to use a csv file to abbreviate table and column names. Once I select the file and apply it , the log shows the replacements that are occurring but the relation model does not reflect the changes. I can double click the table and individual columns to see the new name in the 'Abbreviation' text box under General but why is the pictorial model does not reflect the new names.
I downloaded this version - Data Modeler 3.1 Download and the abbreviation worked fine replacing the Table,Column names in the relational mode.
Please let me know if this feature is discontinued in the new versions of the tool. The help documents do not clearly mention it.
