Hi!

I have recently started with Oracle virtual server. My objective was to communicate the virtual manager with remote computers and to access the internet. Therefore, I created two virtual machines on hosting OEL5.2 and other hosting Windows XP. Now when I am trying to connect through console, I am able to connect to both the virtual machine. Both the virtual machines are able to ping to each other. The issue in case of OEL52 Virtual machine is, it is unable to ping to the machine hosting "Oracle Virtual Manager", and to the "Oracle Virtual Server". However, I am able to ping the "OEL5.2 Virtual machine" from Oracle Virtual Server and as well as from the system hosting the Oracle virtual manager.

However, in case of the virtual machine that is hosting Windows XP, I am unable to communicate or ping neither to the "Oracle Virtual Manager" nor to the "Oracle Virtual Server". Nor the "Oracle Virtual Server" and "Oracle Virtual Manager" are able to ping to the Windows XP virtual machine.

I searched through the forum, and gave the following commands:-

The above configuration is for the OEL5.2 virtual machine.

Now the Virtual machine hosting Windows XP contains the following ip address:
192.168.1.13, Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0, Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Besides these I have disabled the firewall of both the virtual machines and the firewall of Oracle virtual server and the system hosting the Oracle virtual manager.

Please help me in resolving the above issue.
