My recovery file is full and over limit. How can I delete unnecessary back ups and delete files.

My recovery file is full and over limit. How can I delete unnecessary back ups and delete files.

I tried below it gave me error. Kindly tell me what steps to take to delete uneccesary files and add extra space to my recovery file.
