My connection was lost while taking Intro To Oracle9i: SQL online!
371156Feb 7 2004 — edited Feb 10 2004I can't beleive my luck! I was taking the online exam: Introduction To Oracle9i yesterday (Friday, Feb. 6th 4:30PM EST) when my internet connection was lost! My ISP figured that doing a server upgrade at 4:30PM on a Friday was an ok time! Now I am probably going to get screwed for the $90USD I paid and fail the exam. I was at question# 43 of 57 when this happened. Also I will have to wait 30 days to re-test on top of it since that is the protocol! Anyways so I call Oracle Online Education support and the test I took is not even managed by Oracle...it's a Prometric company...even though Oracle logos were plastered all over the web pages while doing the test? So now they are not even open till Monday and I just know they are going to say "there is nothing we can do" and my ISP is probably going to say the same thing! I am hoping I can be able to re-test without charge even though it is my ISP's fault.
