Multiples instances on one host for one DB

Hi,

I have a 2-node Oracle 9i RAC installation where each node hosts only one instance of the same database.
Can I create other instance(s) of the same database on the existing hosts?
What I want to know is if I can have more than one instance of the same database on one node.
