Multiple Series Bar Chart -- Is it possible?

482179Feb 27 2006 — edited Mar 24 2006
Hi Folks,

Please let me know if there is a way to do this:

I would like to have a simple bar chart with nice, big bars. Each bar is the sum of a column with conditions applied. (I wrote a bit about this a ways back: 1187335

The problem that I have is that the bar charts are single series charts and the cluster and stacked bars, while multiple series, do not present the information properly. I am looking for the sum of the initial budgets in one bar, the sum of the current forecast in another bar, the sum of the approved funds in another bar, etc.

One way that I thought of approaching this was to make a view or even another table that would have the labels in one column, and the values in another, but I haven't been able to put this together. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or guidance anyone can provide.

This strikes me as just not being that difficult, therefore I'm guessing that I'm missing something fundamental.

Many thanks,

Petie
