msjvm not installed

Hi, anyone encountered this before or anyone can help me? I can't view webpages as msjvm not installed. I can't install with error msg about system requirement..., tried loading IE service pack 1 which is one of the requirements, but failed too. Any other way I can install msjvm? Any other alternative way to view webpages that requires java? Desperately in need of help. Thanks!
