MS SQL2000 - JDBC Socket Issue

Hi,

I have installed J2EE - SUN Application server 8 on Win XP. Also i installed SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC. It is working fine.

Now i installed the SUN Application Server, MS SQL 2000 and SQL200 JDBC Driver on "Windows 2003 Server". But when i try to conect the database server from my jsp page, it loads the driver but unable to establish a socket connection with SQL server and gives the following error:

Unable to connect database, unable to create the socket.

I have tried all the ways but not able to rectify the problem. Is there any problem with J2EE server on Win2003 or SQL JDBC driver is not compatible with win2003 ???

Looking for earliest help
