ms access 2003 to apex 4.2 migration issue
Hi everybody.
Im working with APEX 4.2, Oracle 10XE, Access 2003.
I have done the database migration with SQLDeveloper sucessfully, so the database is ok.
The problem come with the Application Express Migration proccess, after I create the project, this ask me the sql file to upload with the access application, and after this in the next step it show me the parameters that I input for confirmation and after this it begin the proccess to upload the sql file or migrate the application and in the middle of process it stop with this message :
Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-06550: line 8, column 8: PLS-00172: string literal too long
begin
declare
p varchar2(32767) := null;
l_clob clob;
begin
dbms_lob.createtemporary( l_clob, FALSE, dbms_lob.session );
dbms_lob.open( l_clob, dbms_lob.lob_readwrite );
p := 'Option Explicit
Chr(39) Option Explicit
DefDbl A-Z
Dim dt As DateTime, OC As OtherCoords
Dim sAspNam As String
Dim sOrbChar As String
Dim A8, A9
and follow the display with the rest of the process.
I see in this that the error PLS-00172 string too long, can come from :
p := 'Option Explicit
Chr(39) Option Explicit
Here the apostrofe ' is not closed with another, but it use char(39) in the place where must come the ' character.
I have been washing the sql file and this happend a lot of time, write char(39) where the exporter must write ' , so I think that maybe I must set, and dont set in any place of exporter or any other place.
Any idea how to resolve this issue?.
Thanks in advanced & Regards everybody.
