MRP apply "delay" deprecated in 12c ?

Hello All,

Env: 12.1.0.2

I was trying to delay mrp apply on my 2nd standby using the "delay" option.

SYS:A1 > RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE DELAY 60 disconnect;

ORA-00274: illegal recovery option DELAY

Would some someone know if it is deprecated in 12c ?

If so, what other option we have (otherthan using DG broker config settings) ?
