Moving redo log files to a different location

DB Version: 10.2.0.1.0

Our Solaris admin guy has asked us move all redo log files to a different location due to a Disk Upgrade.

So this is what i am thinking to do

1. SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE
2.Copy redo log files to the new location using cp command
3.startup mount
4.Rename REDO log files using
ALTER DATABASE RENAME FILE 'old_log_location' TO 'new_log_location';
5.
ALTER DATABASE OPEN;
Is this fine?

i missed out the the second step ie. Copying/moving redo log files to the new location bit after the SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE.
