Moving From the Standard Edition to the Enterprise Edition

I want to upgrade my database from Standard edition to Enterprise edition.

release number of my Standard Edition server software is the same release as the Enterprise Edition server software.

oracle 11g patch set1 - 11.1.0.7.0

Difference only in patches

patch on my standard Edition server software is 9952228

and patch on my Enterprise Edition server software is 10248531.

My question is .. For moving from Standard Edition to Enterprise Edition do i need to apply same patches on Enterprise edition software as of Standard edition. ??

My release number is same - 11.1.0.7.0.

I am on Linux machine.
