Moving a source GG installation between nodes in a RAC

We have a GG installation (11.1.1.1.2) on local server disk on one node in a RAC cluster.

The setup is a one-way extract sending trail files to a different RAC database.

I would like to move this source extract to another node.

What would be the best practice for this.

I was thinking I could stop the GG extract, rsync the GG directory to new node, and startup the extract on the new node.

If this is fine, what are the gotchas I will run into re-starting this extract?
