Dear Team,
We are planning to perform OS upgrade for our Oracle database server running on RHEL 7.9. Since OS version RHEL 7.9 Approaching end of life we are upgrading to To RHEL 8.9 OS version since we do not have red hat subscription so we are going to do fresh installation for OS upgrade.
Our Oracle Database 19c is running on RHEL 7.9, and I do not want to fresh installation for oracle database on RHEL 8.9 OS
Can we attach the data disks to new new server that running on RHEL 8.9 OS from the RHEL 7.9 OS.
Will we able to bring the Oracle DB up without losing any data or configuration. or is there any other approach?
