Move a 9i database from an AIX server to a Solaris server

Hello,

Sorry if this question has already been asked but I've had a look and can't find it.

I have a bit of a problem in that I need to move a database from an AIX server to a Solaris server. The database version is 9.2.0.6
I can't use RMAN because of the different OS's, currently I am using export and import but this is very slow and when we go live with this production change I don't have the 12 odd hours it takes.
I also don't think creating a standby database will work because again of the different OS's

Can anybody suggest anything for me to use?
