Mouse click navigation in multiple forms

Hello, one of my blocks in a form has multiple records.

I put in a WHEN-MOUSE-CLICK trigger on the text item the system.cursor_record value, and no matter what row I click on, it returns a 1. I would like this value to be set to the row I click on.

The items that I am clicking on are text items, so I have no mouse navigitable property.

Anyone have any ideas?
