Mount .img files

Hi,

Is it possible to mount the system.img file? I've got backups of some vm's (system.img, vm.cfg) and would like to be able to mount the img file to retrieve some files.

I'd like to do this for both linux and windows vm's. I've copied the backups to a linux O/S and trying to mount from there using the mount command but haven't had much luck.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

OVM 2.2.2, OEL5U5 and Wnidows 2008 guests.
