Monitoring Table/Tablespace growth

Finbar FitzgeraldMay 15 2008 — edited May 16 2008
Can anyone point me in the direction of any useful utilities/advisors/statistics/ reports I can use to monitor the growth of a database.

There is one table in the DB that I am particularly interested in monitoring. It has a CLOB column and currently contains approx. 21 million rows and the table size is 56 Gbytes. These are the numbers reported by the stats tab on Toad. The Oracle version is 10 release 1. The users are adding approx. 1 million rows a month.

I would like some way of monitoring the table growth on a month to month basis over the last twelve months say and then use these numbers to make some projections for the future. Any tips would be appreciated.
