How do I monitor RMAN jobs with OEM without moving the jobs into OEM.
I am using OEM 12c and all of the DB alerts are within OEM. I am backing up ~20 databases using RMAN scripts that run on a Redhat Linux box. The scripts are kicked off via cron and it all works well. I use OEM for all DB alerts and that works well also except for I currently don't have any alerts set for failed RMAN jobs. I am familiar that if the RMAN jobs are being kicked off via OEM that alerts are automatic, however it is NOT an option to move the current RMAN scripts to OEM.
