Monitoring_profile

Oracle 10g. My understanding is that Oracle 10g has two default profiles: default_profile and monitoring_profile. But our vendor installed Oracle 10g for us and I found there is no monitoring_profile. Why? What should I do to get monitoring_profile? Please advise.
