Monitoring by Instance a RAC

Renato TelleriaNov 6 2017 — edited Nov 7 2017

Hi Gurus, I have a 2 instance RAC, Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production With the Partitioning, Real Application Clusters and Dataguard. Day's ago one of my instance bounced and started in mount mode, by the time I was on my Standby database using it as production database and I think that's why after bounce the instance went to mount and no open mode, I realized one of my instance was mounted after Users complained and check by my self the problem.  My question is: Is there any procedure that can warn me about this situation?, like alert or something that say the status of my instances?, I can not use listener IP's since they would respond since the other instance was up, Is there any way to be aware immediately when one instance bounce?
