Mode => Source:FULL Target:FULL when anticipating a DAC Incremental Load

653953May 17 2010 — edited Dec 12 2010
Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to review this post.

Environment

Oracle BI Applications Financial & Project Analytics 7.9.6
OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1
DAC 10.1.3.4.1
Informatica 8.6.0 HotFix 4.0
Data Source: EBS 11.5.0

Problem

After successfully completing initial FULL ETL load and then removing the Full Load Always checkbox from my Execution Plan I anticipated that my next run would be an Incremental run. However, when I kicked the next run off, I was surprised to see the Mode in the Tasks tab displaying Source: FULL Target: FULL.

Steps taken:

1. Full Load against TEST EBS 11.5.10 source instance

2. Refresh TEST EBS source instance from Production one week later, therefore expecting an Incremental load of one week's worth of data

3. Update the APPS password in DAC and Informatica Repository

4. Uncheck Full Load Always checkbox from my Execution Plan

5. Generate Parameters in Execution Plan - OK

6. Build Execution Plan - No Changes

7. Run Now - Tasks tab displaying Source: FULL Target: FULL (????)

Why is this the case? Why not INCREMENTAL? There are no Refresh Dates populated in my Physical Data Sources either.

Kind Regards,
Gary.
