Mobile access

345771May 3 2009 — edited Feb 7 2020
Hello all,
I'm trying to access Beehive 1.4.3.0 using my mobile.

Email IMAP access looks ok, even if I couldn't test SSL... I think it's set up correctly, but my mobile (Iphone) seems to dislike self-signed certificates... Anyway, that works fine.

The problems are when I try to use SyncML. I installed a third-party SyncML application on the Iphone (Synthesys SyncML Client, it actually works against an OCS instance, and I believe it should be certified to be used with beehive as well).

Well, the application should be configured ok, but it gives me an "access denied" error. Username and passwd are ok, and I manually registered my mobile device adding it in "uss", and then connecting to "https://xxx.xxxx.com/mobiledm" from the mobile itself (a message saying something like "thanks for registering this mobile device" came out when I did it).

Any ideas?

Just another strange thing: if, from my mobile, I try to access the Zimbra homepage it gives me the same "access denied" message, or better... It says "wrong username/password".

Final note: I couldn't register my mobile via SMS, as this is just for testing, so I didn't feel like subscribing a messaging aggregator service...
