Hello,
I am trying to deploy Java 7 Update 25 to our end users with a Mixed Code setting of "Enable - hide warning and run with protections" instead of the default "Enable - show warning if needed." The security notification comes up with a lot of our applications and is causing complaints and helpdesk calls. Has anyone successfully deployed Java with this security setting modification already set?
This setting shows up as "deployment.security.mixcode=HIDE_RUN" in the "deployment.properties" file located at "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment"
It's also in the registry at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppDataLow\Software\JavaSoft\DeploymentProperties" as "deployment.security.mixcode"
Problem is, neither the registry items or deployment.properties file appear until after the Java control panel is opened and the setting is made manually.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
