Missing UNDO tablespace in restore backup

204024Dec 14 2006 — edited Dec 17 2006
Hi,

I'm trying to restore a cold backup, but the undo tablespace is not present.
I tried to solve this with:

SQL> alter database open;
alter database open
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 2 - see DBWR trace file
ORA-01110: data file 2: 'F:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORAGIS\DBF\UNDOTBS01.DBF'

SQL>CREATE UNDO TABLESPACE UNDOTBS01 DATAFILE
'F:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORAGIS\DBF\UNDOTBS0
1.DBF' SIZE 200M REUSE AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 5120K MAXSIZE UNLIMITED
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01109: database not open

How can I solve this?

Thanx,

Pim
