Missing SDO_GEOMETRY in an Pluggable Database PDB

FredC2Nov 30 2017 — edited Jan 10 2018

Hi *

I've setup an test EE database 12.2 (CDB/PDB)  successfully from scratch, with the Spatial Option.

However, when trying to create some table with the SDO_GEOMETRY column in a pluggable database I've go ORA-902: invalid datatype.

So I've installed Locator manually by executing some script on the container database CDB, and I was able to create a table with the desired datatype.

Then I reconnected to the PDB and got the same error.

Now I'am wondering if I have to install the Locator on every PDB ?

Thx and Best Regards,  Fred
