missing exception: ORA-28002: the password will expire

we have a user, which password will expire. sqlplus shows:

SQL> connect pb/pb
ERROR:
ORA-28002: the password will expire within 10000 days

but in odp, nothing happens. why?

we have Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.3.0
and we use Oracle.DataAccess.dll 10.2.0.100
