Missing Data
Someone asked me to check a crosstab report which for some reason shows some amounts as 0 when they are not. On the other hand, the total in the report is correct. In other words, the total includes the correct amount and not the 0.
The user works in PLUS. In my trying to figure out what is happening, I went into DESKTOP and I found that the same report in DESKTOP and PLUS does not always come out the same. DESKTOP is sometimes missing data when PLUS is not.
I have a feeling that the two problems:
a)missing data in PLUS
b)PLUS and DESKTOP not being the same
are somehow connected.
I only spent a couple of hours checking this out, but I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced a similar problem and can give me some direction.
