Migration to new NIS server in Solaris 10

Hi -

We currently have a machine serving as the NIS server in a Solaris 10 environment. We want to deploy a new/improved server to function as the NIS server. I'm seeing general info on how to create a NIS server/client in Solaris 10 but I haven't really run across a guide to smoothly replace the Solaris 10 NIS server without impacting the clients too much.

I'm brand new to the forum and appologize for any posting errors. I tried to watch the videos in the "Beginners Quick Start" but our security department blocks anything from YouTube .........
