I'm working on PBCS and I would like to migrate an application that I have on a service instance to another one, completely new. I'm not referring to migrating snapshot from Test to Production Environment but to a completely new instance.
I've exported the snapshot from the source instance and I've tried to upload it to another instance but the process doesn't complete itself. Is it an expected behaviour that I can't import snapshot from a different service instance or is there maybe something wrong with this new instance? I tried reverting the process, taking a simple snapshot from this new instance and uploading it into the old instance and the uploading process works fine.
The only snapshots that I'm able to upload is the one that I made into the instance itself. Is it an expected behaviour?
Do you have any idea? I've also noticed some other issues:
- once a new application is build up with two cubes and tried making some simple calculations, Xref/Xwrite command don't work. Data are not moved between the two cubes;
- list of cubes don't appear in Smartview Panel when I make a new connection. I can only see Library (Form) and Task LIst;
I think that there should be some issues here but I'm not sure what can be the problem.
If you have any idea please tell me. Obviously I will ask to Oracle.
