We are having a challenge, I need your Expert advice on the following points :
- Till now we are using Oracle 9i + D2k on Windows 2003 Server 32bit .
- Our database ,forms and reports are been from last 15 years and its been created with many controls as per company requirement and is working fine.
- Now as we want to upgrade our server to windows 8 and all the users had started using Windows 7 and Windows 8 64 Bit.
- The current Application will not support to 64 bit platform.
- I want to know what will be the process of migrating from the existing to the latest. (Database , Forms & Reports)
- Which kind of Licensing will be needed and approx what will be the Cost per user.
I will be thankful if i can get a clear suggestion which will help me to discuss with management and plan accordingly.
