Migrating Informix ESQL/C to Pro*C

I have compile and link errors when I use the .pc file created in the migration from Informix ESQL/C to Pro*C. It creates the .c file however gives the following Errors.

error 1588 : "sqlca" undefined
error 1588 : "STATE" undefined

I added #include <sqlca.h> to the .pc file and that seems to have fixed the first error, or has it. But the second error has me baffled.

Can anyone help. This is rather urgent.
