I am migrating my 2- node RAC database (11.2.0.3) from HP-UX to Linux 64-Bit .

And we can migrate the database between HP-UX to linux (different endians) using simple export/import or Transportable tablespace.

But My question is, HP-UX machine contains RAC database with two nodes . Now I need to migrate the RAC database to Linux (same RAC architecture) using Transportable tablespace.

I have installed the 11.2.0.3 Software on target 2-Node RAC; Now trying to create the DB as per document ;

Should I create the empty DB as single database and complete the transport tablespace and then later add the second node instance ?
Or should I set up 2-node RAC instance and then shutdown the second Node and do the remaining ?
Whats the best and recommended approach ?

Do we have any migration document for RAC environment?
