Migrate From Oracle Database Standard 11.2.0.1 to Express Edition 11.2.0.2

dbapeNov 30 2016 — edited Nov 30 2016

Hi friends,

I have to migrate an oracle database from licence version to express version.

I have a little schema (7GB of data) in oracle database STANDARD EDITION 11gr2 (11.2.0.1) x64, and I want to migrate to Oracle Database EXPRESS EDITION 11gr2(11.2.0.2) x64, using Datapump method.

I would like to know if it is posible do that just doing an export/import datapump, or would be there any problem with the versions from Standard to Express, or from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2  ?

Also, I tried to get the Oralce Database Express Edition 11.2.0.1 x64, but it is not available on oracle web page anymore. (just  is 11.2.0.2 June 2014). Do you know where can I find it ?.

Best Regards.

DBApe.
