we have to upgrade EPMA based HFM app from 11.1.2.4.900 to 11.2.8. I extract the ADS file from the EPMA file generator and tried to convert it via the patch (30695700) suggested by Oracle. However, the conversion was not successful. we are working with support via ticket. In the meanwhile, I would like to try another possible approach here.
I also tried copying HFM app via the CopyApp utility that comes with 11.1.2.3.702 via patch 22323578 on the same environment 11.1.2.4. 900, while copying it prompts me to convert EPMA to classic, I click Yes and the copy went successful. I registered the HFM app on workspace and the app is opening. But, when I click on application elements, I don't see any except security. Since the app is EPMA based on source, is there any way to make it work? Can I extract application elements from the source HFM app and load it on target and make it work?
Please note I'm trying to convert EPMA-based HFM to classic on the same environment 11.1.2.4.900. once the app is validated functionally, we will migrate to 11.2.8
