Migrate byte to char/varchar2 throughout an instance

Hi.

Is it possible to migrate/convert columns in tables from BYTE to CHAR?

National characters seems to genereate import error migrating from 10gxe til 11gxe.

Could one have a script that traverses an instance and converts BYTE to CHAR?
