Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library: Runtime Error!

Hi all,

I am new to Java and programming in general, and since I need it for school (mechanical engineering) I thought I'd get a head start and download and install it on my PC. When the installation seemingly finished and it prompted the webpage for me to register my copy, I received this error dialog box:

Does anyone know of a fix for this? I don't know what exactly it is, so I want to get some more opinions before I proceed with any course of action. TIA guys.
