Microsoft Cluster software vs Oracle Clusterware

Hi All,

I know Oracle Clusterware is the way to control the VIPs in a RAC environment, but I have got the Microsoft SYS Admins insisting that the VIPs are controlled by Microsoft clustering.

I have tried google & all the Oracle documentation and cannot find anything definitive stating that MS Clustering is not the way to control the VIPs.

Does anybody have any ideas about where I can get some info about this?
