Metadata & Data Sync from Planning To Essbase

Hi All,

I have a requirement where I need to create a new Essbase cube over an existing Planning cube. And I am trying to evaluate different options by which we can achieve it.
(
Note1: Planning cube is EPMA deployed
Note2: Essbase cube will be for reporting only, so read only
)

Option1: Export-Import scripts (automating via Maxl/Informatica)
Option2: Using a Replicated partitioning
Option3: EPMA Data synchronization wizard (via batch client)

Can any one tell me the best approach from the above (or any new idea) ?

Also how can I synchronize my metadata between the two apps? Can replicated partition also sync metadata?
Since Planning application is EPMA depolyed, is it better to utilize EPMA itself for both metadata and data?

Any help will be appreciated.
