I have an application using workflows. I checked out a working copy, made a bunch of changes (mostly to non workflow areas).
Prior to checking in the working copy, the workflow had two versions - an older one with lines through all the sections, and a newer one that I could make changes to. At some point, and I thought it was before I made the working copy, I changed an email notification in the workflow.
After I checked the working copy back in, I noticed that the older version of the workflow no longer had the lines through all sections, and the change to the active workflow (email notification) disappeared. I had a recent backup, so I restored it and grabbed the changes back and re-applied them.
This was just about my first time using working copies, and I have only done a few workflows - should there be other strange interactions between working copies and workflows?
My next project up involves non trivial changes to the workflow (combining an approval step with the human actions step that comes right after it - Faculty approve the first step and don't bother to finish the next step).
