Meaning of "eventType: IAS/PM/PROC_KILLED" on opmn.dbg

Liza Henriquez-OracleJan 14 2010 — edited Apr 15 2011
My customer is facing lots (dozens daily) of jvm crashes.. We're trying to determine why... (this is 10.1.4 btw fror EBiz R12.1.1)
We've enabled opmn debug and we see many of those messages on opmn.dbg

Does the message mean
1. opmn issued the "kill" of the jvm?
or
2. opmn found the jvm already dead ?

We don't see an actual message saying opmn was the one that issued the kill though as the opmn.log shows:

[pm-process] Process Crashed: default_group~oacore~default_group~13 (50096961:12315) - Restarting

It's not clear to me if it's opmn that is killing the jvm or it's finding them already dead..

Thanks
Liza
