mdadm exited with status 127

Hi!

I had installed OEL 6.0 (64 bit ) on a 1 TB SATA HDD of HP Proliant ML 330 G6 server. After installation when I rebooted it, I got the following error message "Uhhuh, NMI received for unknown reason 00 on CPU. Do you have a strange power saving mode enabled? Dazed and confused, but trying to continue" and hangs over there. Hence, I decided to reboot it, now the same message appears, but after few seconds it is throwing me an message "mdadm exited with status 127.

Hence, I checked whether the H/W RAID Controller or S/W RAID Controller is active. I checked it from the BIOS that H/W SATA ARRAY RAID Controller is disabled. Hence, I rebooted the system using Linux rescue CD and issued cat /proc/mdstat. It displayed me the following output:

Personalities: [raid0] [raid1] [raid6] [raid5] [raid4] [raid10] [linear]
unused devices: <none>

From the above output it was clear to me the RAID Controller is not active. But still I am unable to understand why it is showing me the message "mdadm exited with status 127".
I am fixed at this point, Hence I require your guidance to overcome the above mentioned issue.

Thanks & Regards
Santosh
