MD5 2 way?

807580May 4 2007 — edited Sep 18 2010
Hi
..i dont have much experience with MD5 but i've heard about it. and my impression is that it creates a unique hash for a value passed to it. that unique hash when MD5'd back would return the original string?

my reason for using is i have pwds which need to be stored in a DB. but i dont want to store the pwds as is. i'dl ike to MD5 (supplied pwd) and store the hash in the DB. then get the hash back MD5 it back and get the orginal pwd and make sure the pwd user entered is the same.

does any body know any good links that demonstrate 2 way MD5?
