Is there a guidance from Oracle on what is the maximum supported distance between 2 nodes in a RAC setup? I have gone through the FAQ on MOS and couldn't find it. Search almost always leads me to extended distance (stretched) cluster which is not what I am looking for. For eg if the 2 nodes are in separate racks or separate chassis, which are a few metres apart, then is that ok (supported)? Mainly from interconnect perspective.
