Maximum number of allowed columns in Pivot Table exceeded

Hi,

I am exceeding the column limit of 1000 in a pivot table. I have added the following tag to instanceconfig.xml:

<pivotview>
<MaxVisibleColumns>5000</MaxVisibleColumns>
</pivotview>

I then restart the presentation server but still see the same error in the report. There are approx 2000 columns that should be generated in the report.

Can anyone help understand why this may not be taking effect?
