maven does not work in nexus : "Attempting to Proxy and Remote Unavailable"

Hi;

can you please resolve this on oracle side:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7246059/nexus-mark-oracle-maven-repository-as-invalid

it used to work in sonatype nexus in the past; but does not work any more;
