Materialized View refresh causes ORA-30036 (unable to extend...undo)

* no retention guarantee
* autoextend is off
* materialized view and indexes are set for nologging
* materialized view is set for complete refresh (materializes a pipelined table from a function)
* 11GB of undotbs
* Undo Tablespace Usage in EM shows most of the 11GB to be allocated in Retention....nothing is typically in use by transaction

Is there a way to determine how much space the dbms_mview.refresh is using? Any hints of what I should be looking for at this point would be appreciated. I'm going to run again, but watch the Undo Tablespace Usage, perhaps I'll get more info that way.

Thanks,
Phil
