I am having a little problem with MVIEWs. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the problem.
We have a 'The master table' on a Remote Server A and the Materialized view is on Server B. Everything works fine until when the master table goes through daily cleanup process- after which the refresh fails with ORA-12034. This what is done with the master table.
1. We have daily partition and the partition older than 45 days from today is truncated.
2. Partition of yesterday is compressed
3. Partitioned Index on yesterday's partition are rebuilt
We used to have both Master and MVIEW in the same DB with the same cleanup process. Never did we get ORA-12034. Only when we moved the MVIEW to another server did this start happening.
Any hint and tips will be helpful.
