MATERIALIZED VIEW Lock

HI

i need to compile a MATERIALIZED VIEW but before that i wnt to find out if the MATERIALIZED VIEW is locked ?
if Yes then dont complie else i compile.


please share your idea's how to find out if the MATERIALIZED VIEW is locked Or not ??/



my databse version is Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.7.0 - Production
