Materialized View

dear gurus
I have a materialized view which refreshes at a certain time .I normally take snap from dba_jobs (total time ).I need to find the time taken for each refresh.

But last time I had a error
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 1
ORA-12005: may not schedule automatic refresh for times in the past

Now I took another snap an hour after the MV refresh time., but I found the timing increased , inspite of error.

Does the MV run inspite of error..
